Leicester Vs U's - Preview

COLCHESTER UNITED travel to promotion-chasing Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

The U's will be looking to bounce-back from last weekend's 1-0 defeat against Crewe, with a good performance at the Walkers Stadium.

The table-topping Foxes are well clear at the top of League One and will looking to get three points to continue there impressive season.

Colchester boss Paul Lambert told BBC Essex: 'Leicester are where they are because they're the best team and I think they'll win the league.'

'But I'm not going up there with any fear or trepidation, we'll go and try to win it,' the Scotsman added.

Leicester manger Nigel Pearson told BBC Leicester: 'It will be another tough game because they've had a bit of a resurgence.

'We'll take the game on its own merits - they don't have a great deal to lose but we have plenty.'

Leicester 'keeper Tony Warner is set to continue in goal, despite David Stockdale returning from injury.

Defender Patrick Kisnorbo will have to settle for a place on the bench, while Steve Howard (suspension) missus out.

The ex-Walsall goal-getter is currently 2nd in the league's scoring charts and will be looking to add to his tally.

Colchester have recent loan signings Neal Trotman and Karl Hawley available for the game.

However, fellow new-boy Ashley Vincent (knee) is unavailable.

Striker Steven Gillespie (ankle) and winger Simon Hackney (groin) are both injury victims, along with Lewis Gobern (hamstring).
