COLCHESTER UNITED face Scunthorpe away this afternoon in the knowledge a ten point gap separates the teams.
After a dip in form, the Iron have won their last two matches, while the U`s collected nine points from their last six games.
U`s manager Paul Lambert has admitted he is already planning for next season and is set for a squad reshuffle as he aims to propel the team to the top of League One.
Colchester defender Pat Baldwin told BBC Essex:'We`ve got nothing to fear, we are just going to go out there and play our normal game and hopefully we will get a result. We obviously play well against teams that come out against us."
Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins told BBC Look North: '"We've got one or two players nursing a few knocks.
"The lads have played an awful lot of games and it is demanding. But Sam Togwell played 90 minutes in the reserves and I'm pleased about this. We're on a roll and we're looking forward to every game."
Scunthorpe have three main injury concerns ahead of the game, and Grant McCann is away with Northern Ireland.
The striker has 27 goals this term and has been a sensationally regular scorer. He is an ex-Southend man, looking to break Billy Sharpe`s 33-goal haul, netted the last time Scunny were promoted.
There is no place in the Colchester sixteen for Australian Chris Coyne, while wingers Lewis Gobern and Simon Hackney have been recalled.
Ashley Vincent, recently signed from Cheltenham, is included in the squad for the first time.
Anthony Wordsworth and Steve Gillespie will have late fitness checks.
The Preston loanee is reunited at Colchester with his former forward partner Clive Platt, from their youth-team days at Walsall. He wants to score goals and had a sound debut last weekend.
