Once more, Colchester face a side next to them in the Championship. But it`s hardly anything like the champagne tie in which Leicester nearly grabbed an historic victory against Chelsea on Wednesday in the Cup.
After an ambivalent response to the lost of Gary Megson to Bolton last week (he came from Nottingham Forest), Leicester are really looking to the future.
Colchester, after a week of rest and countless interviews in which the players are declaring themselves unhappy with recent results, will want to go for all three points in front of the sky cameras this evening.
'A result on Saturday could be the start of a run for us. I came down here last season with Birmingham and there was a lot of publicity surrounding Colchester and how they had done at home,' he said.
'We knew that it was going to be a tough game and although Colchester shaded the first half, we got an equaliser I thought we deserved.' - Steven Clemence, the Brum skipper, in today's U's review, on why a win would be so gppd for his team.
Colchester United will be without Teddy Sheringham, who is suspended, although Ja,ie Guy, Bela Balugh and Kevin Watson are all expeted to be ivolved following injury. Dean Gerken is ready to step up if Aidan Davison (shoulder)does not recover.
Mark Yeates - wil be looking to make amends for last season's showing on loan at Leicster, where he scored just once and was a disapointment, and show the fans the real side of Colchester's biggest goal threat this season.
Leicester's Levi Porter suffered a knee injury against Chelsea - he was streached ouf in the game's closing stages - and so is out, but Collins John returns ( after being cup-tied).
Iian Hume, thier danger-man striker, is also ruled out.
Collins John - a coup for Licester on loan from Fulham, although yet to hit top form. Will come good, probably, and be recalled to the Premier League.
Leicester have not won in thier last two away games, and gone four without a draw, so a win could be on the cards for the U's!
Colchester face Plymouyth and Watford next.
