A win at Oldham at the weekend wasn't something that Colchester could follow up on Tuesday as MK Dons ended a run of defeats to get their promotion bid back on track.

Hopes were raised following the one-nil win at Oldham but a goal just before half time made the difference at the Weston Homes Community Stadium as MK Dons went home with a one-nil win of their own.

With a goalless firs half on recent £5m Tottenham signing, before being loaned back to the club for the remainder of the season, Alli (44) put the visitors ahead.

That first half effort, which we had been calling for a flag for that never came, proved to be enough.

Attention now moves away from this game and turns to our next one against Bristol City and we are looking for your view on what way this will go?
